The Ru-Vel exterior was, as we all know, starting to show it's age. There were a good number of cracks in the skin, and even some pieces were missing. Restoration was undertaken by a Dania company, Earl's Services, Inc., and the photos below show some selected building areas. We are extremely happy with the quality and timeliness of the job! If you click on an image, you will see photos of the selected area both as work was being undertaken and after the work had been completed; if you click on one of these photos, you will get it's larger image. I didn't think to take a set of "before" pictures - they would have shown the cracks, missing concrete, and the deteriorated putty (particularly the #5 courtyard windows and west windows of #4 - which had no almost putty remaining).
Each of the pictures was taken with a Canon PowerShot S100 in automatic mode with 1200 x 1600 resolution. The images were saved in JPEG format using an image quality setting of 20; the original JPEG's are typically 5 times the size of the working set (say 100KB for the image presented, and about 500KB for the original)
